Neither you, nor I, can change this; it’s a biological fact. I agreed with almost all of his argument although I did find at some point he was pushing it BUT overall he makes a righteous argument and I choose that word "righteous" carefully. The cartoon illustrations not only clarify the story but add to its hilarity as well. Did Mead initially write it this way, or did she plot out the novel and then decide to start shoving in Rose’s introspection to make it more teen-friendly. The book is relatively fast-paced and the situations Shazza finds herself in kept me turning pages. It is enjoyable for me to read it to my kids, not just tolerable.
