After reading the first Jackson - Blackhawk novel, "The Girl at the Deep End of the Lake" - I felt truly invested in each of the main character's lives (Jackson, Blackhawk, Nacho, Elena, Boyce, ...)....

But the two are not talking thing out and it all just get worse. Readers who believe in God will benefit from the dismantling of atheistic fallacies and misconceptions while objective atheists will question their own atheism. Witnessing the illness and death of many of his friends from AIDS, San Francisco poet Aaron Shurin began a series of writings that, as he puts it, "are the stations of an enlarging question: the question, alarmed, of a cell aroused by invasion, or the yearning curl of a lover's body awake on the vacated sheets. Don't be a jerk, but don't be a pushover, either, with your wife and her lawyers laughing at you all the way to bank. This is a well written, and historically interesting novel.
